What are some workouts that i can do with ropes?

You can put up a heavy duty rope, hanging from the rafters, or something solid with a toggle hook. It has to hold your weight, so ask them about it, then you climb up, but it only has meaning if you have a higher than normal ceiling. As far as doors, they can't take the weight, and aren't solid. They will pull away from the hinges. You need to install a bar for pull ups so the weight is distributed between the studs. The bolt would go through the studs and open at the other side. So, I don't know about the door and rope. My attorney had a big case regarding one of those spring loaded bars that fit between the two sides of the door frame. As far as tugging a dumbbell around one place or another, you don't want an injury. You can use your body resistance and do push ups, two hands, two hands and a clap, one hand, and so on, and get plenty of exercise and not break any doors or go into the ceiling with a big hook with no fear of injury to self or wall board.
