Transferring colleges questions?

Hey everybody i want some input. I'm planning on going to Kean University in the fall to study biology. Now i didn't do so well in high school so i opted to go to Kean for the first year of college instead of going to community college. I was wondering if it will be possible to transfer to my dream school which is Rutgers University in New Brunswick if i do really good in my first year at Kean will my grades in high school play a major part in the admission decision? Thank everybody please give as much information as possible
