Will Simple Green clean a condenser coil?
I'm feeling to cheap to go down to the hardware store and get some coil cleaner. I have a bottle of L.A.'s awesome cleaner, (which I think is basically like Simple Green/Greased Lightning) and just wondering if this would work to clean my outside a.c. condenser coil, I'm thinking just spray it on and rinse off with water after a couple of minutes. Any down side to this? Also want to make sure I won't hurt anything with the unit. Would this work just as well as a commercial coil cleaner or only about half as good? Also thinking about doing the evaporator unit on the inside, wondering if it might work there too or if I should get some standard coil cleaner at Home Depot. Thanks!
