Can u become Cop going at Rutgers Univ New Brunswick ?

Ok i want to become a Cop. And i really want to go to Rutgers Unvi. ( New BrunsWick) ok im not sure.. But can u become a cop by going to rutgers NB ? i mean i know Rutgers is good for Pre-med and engineer. but I want to become cop. people say that u need 2 go to police Academy . but Dont u go to a college first then academy ? Live in New Jersey Middlesex county 17 years old
