Does anybody make shoulder pads for scaffolders?

My bf just got a new job scaffolding. He's coming home with bruised and scraped shoulders everyday. I looked online and at Hme Depot and can't seem to find should pads or any kind of padding he can wear to help with this. Anybody know where i can find them or what he can wear to help prevent the cuts?
