Haircut ideas for the 45 year old professional?

I'm looking for an easy to manage haircut for a 45 year old professional. Face is round, double chin, thick hair, frizzy hair. Hair is currently long, with long layers, colored medium brown (because of gray) & takes forever to wash, dry, flat iron. Scared to cut too short. Like it shoulder length.
