Has anyone try to use curling iron on cathay pacific flight to HK? (since there is in-flight power outlet)?

from LAX to HK is very long flight. girls will end up with mess up hair. so has anyone try to style their hair using curling iron/flat iron on cathay pacific long haul flight?
