Can anyone help us with how to move to Canada please?

We want to move to New Brunswick, Fredericton, but finding all the routes rather complicated. Unfortunately my husbands job is not on the wanted list (software developer) so we believe we will have to go via visa and work permit but nothing seems very clear, in the government information provided? Does anyone have any useful pointers for us please? thank you
