Will I be approved for unemployment?

I was fired from Home Depot. I worked there a year and a half, and was told by my supervisor that we'd be off Memorial Day. I didn't come in until Tuesday, and he insisted that he told me Friday that we did have to work, Friday being the same day I was hit on the head with several doors, for which I filed an incident report. I was fired Wednesday night and just had my appointment with the Unemployment People, and she said she'll call the job and get a decision letter out to me. Could I be denied?
