Is it hard to move to a different part of the country?

I'm just after abit of advice really im thinking about moving to a different part of the country as where me my partner and daughter (4years old) lives there's nothing for us really and sick of being near parents. I'm the only one of us that work and could probably get a job at another depot for the company i work with very easy as they've got depots all over. Like i said i'm just wanting abit of advice on what to do and such we only rent at the moment as well so will probably only rent again when we move.
