How much firewood do I need for a bonfire?

So I'm planning to buy bundles of firewood at Home Depot. 1 bundle = 3 pieces of firewood. I'm planning to burn about 5 pieces of firewood at a time. How long will that last and how much do you think I need for a decent bonfire?
